Welcome to Equitala Farms. Everyone wonders what Equitala means, so I’ll let you in on the secret. Equi– is from the Latin prefix for horse, which represents the Thoroughbred portion of our farm. Tala is the Inuit word for wolf. Though not wolves, all of our huskies’ registered last name is Tala. We are delighted that you decided to visit us.
The babies are here! Nika had nine beautiful pups on March 8th. They will be ready for their new homes on May 5th. If you are purchasing a pup as a gift, please make sure all new owners are aware of the commitment required by (and the special little quirks of) the breed. Please visit the photo gallery for pictures of previous pups. As this litter begins to grow we will post new pictures. We are now accepting deposits for the puppies. Choice of puppy will be given in the order the deposits are received. Follow the links at the left to see pictures and information about all of our animals.
